privacy policy

Unlike Convert 'Em All, this app cannot work on the phone alone. Writing a script and speaking it happens on a server, so the material you choose has to travel there.

The documents you add (PDF, Word, text, Markdown) or the text taken from them, the links you paste (the server opens the page and lifts out the article), and the options you choose: language, reading or podcast, depth, and any instructions you type.

If you turn on the web search switch, searches based on your sources are run to find extra context.

To a server run by The Yellow Apps. To write the script, the text is passed to an AI language model through OpenRouter, a service that forwards the request to the model's provider; the script is then turned into speech and the audio is sent back to your phone.

Those providers process the text only to produce your piece, under their own terms, and some of them may be outside the European Union. The Yellow Apps does not use your material to train AI models, and does not sell or share it for advertising.

On the server: what you send and the script made from it are kept only as long as needed to produce and deliver the piece, plus the short technical logs needed to keep the service running.

On your phone: your library, the finished audio and your settings. They are deleted when you uninstall the app; MP3 files you exported stay wherever you saved them.

Plans are billed by Google Play, so the app and the server never see your card or payment details. To apply your plan and count the podcasts you have made, the server receives an identifier for your installation and, if you subscribe, the subscription information from Google Play needed to check it.

No account, no email, no login. No advertising SDK and no analytics SDK in the app. Nothing about what you listen to is collected for any other purpose.

Your material is processed because you ask the app to turn it into audio: it is needed to provide the service you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

You can ask to access, correct or delete any data about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. Write to help@theyellowapps.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Internet, to reach the server; notifications and a foreground service, so generation can carry on and show progress when you leave the app; and access to the files you pick through the system file picker.

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.

A differenza di Convert 'Em All, questa app non può funzionare solo sul telefono. Scrivere il copione e leggerlo ad alta voce avviene su un server, quindi il materiale che scegli deve arrivare lì.

I documenti che aggiungi (PDF, Word, testo, Markdown) o il testo estratto da essi, i link che incolli (il server apre la pagina ed estrae l'articolo) e le opzioni che scegli: lingua, lettura o podcast, profondità ed eventuali istruzioni che scrivi.

Se attivi la ricerca sul web, vengono fatte ricerche basate sulle tue fonti per trovare contesto aggiuntivo.

Su un server gestito da The Yellow Apps. Per scrivere il copione, il testo viene passato a un modello linguistico di intelligenza artificiale tramite OpenRouter, un servizio che inoltra la richiesta al fornitore del modello; il copione viene poi trasformato in voce e l'audio torna sul tuo telefono.

Questi fornitori trattano il testo solo per produrre il tuo contenuto, secondo i propri termini, e alcuni possono trovarsi fuori dall'Unione Europea. The Yellow Apps non usa il tuo materiale per addestrare modelli di intelligenza artificiale e non lo vende né lo condivide a fini pubblicitari.

Sul server: ciò che invii e il copione ricavato vengono conservati solo per il tempo necessario a produrre e consegnare il contenuto, più i brevi registri tecnici necessari a far funzionare il servizio.

Sul telefono: la libreria, l'audio finito e le impostazioni. Vengono cancellati quando disinstalli l'app; i file MP3 esportati restano dove li hai salvati.

I piani sono addebitati da Google Play, quindi né l'app né il server vedono la tua carta o i tuoi dati di pagamento. Per applicare il piano e contare i podcast creati, il server riceve un identificativo della tua installazione e, se ti abboni, le informazioni sull'abbonamento fornite da Google Play necessarie per verificarlo.

Nessun account, nessuna email, nessun accesso. Nessun SDK pubblicitario e nessun SDK di analisi nell'app. Niente di ciò che ascolti viene raccolto per altri scopi.

Il tuo materiale viene trattato perché chiedi all'app di trasformarlo in audio: è necessario per fornirti il servizio richiesto (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b del GDPR).

Puoi chiedere di accedere ai dati che ti riguardano, correggerli o cancellarli, limitarne o opporti al loro uso e riceverne una copia. Scrivi a help@theyellowapps.com. Puoi anche presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Internet, per raggiungere il server; notifiche e servizio in primo piano, così la generazione continua e mostra l'avanzamento quando esci dall'app; accesso ai file che scegli tramite il selettore di sistema.

L'app non è rivolta a minori di 13 anni e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati di minori.
